Hi, I’m Sandra Friend, the founder of Gardens Visitor. I’ve had this website in mind ever since I started my career as a travel writer in the mid-1990s. While I’ve never had a green thumb, visiting public gardens has been a part of my life since I was a kid. As I grow older, I realize the importance of gardens for their ability to connect everyone with nature. No matter your age or ability, you will always find joy in a garden.
I’d like you to join me as I share stories about the gardens I’ve visited and the botanical beauty I’ve encountered over the decades. I share my story along with the beauty of 36 Southern gardens I visited with my Mom during azalea season in this 86-page eBook.
It’s yours for sharing your email address with me. Eventually I hope to launch a newsletter, but it won’t be soon. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the beauty of azalea season in my new book.
